We hope your time spent at the Barn is as happy and as comfortable as possible, either as a tutor or as an attendee. To help you prepare for your visit, we hope that the following information is useful.
The Barn is a large comfortable workspace which can accommodate large and small groups. The maximum capacity is 60. The size of the main space is 17.5 m x 7.5 m.
The Barn is all on one level and is wheelchair friendly. It has underfloor heating, ensuring a pleasant learning environment.
Dogs and pets are not allowed in the Barn or the grounds. Please make alternative arrangements for the care of your pet. Thank you.
The Barn has a reception area which is ideal for the registration of attendees coming to courses and workshops. You can also find leaflets and information on forthcoming events at the Barn and details on local holistic practitioners.
We have three toilets one of which has disabled facilities.
The Barn has a large kitchen for visitors to make a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy a chat. There is a fridge to store packed lunches and drinks. Visitors can use the urn, kettle, mugs, plates and cutlery available at the Barn. Cooking onsite is prohibited.
Washing-up facilities are also available.
We have a beautiful garden where you can eat your lunch or just to explore and enjoy the peace. We have even held workshops in the garden!
You don’t have to worry about the cost of parking or a long walk to the venue. We have free onsite parking for about 20 cars. If required, for larger events, we can also arrange additional parking in adjacent areas.
It is highly recommended that you bring a packed lunch. Although there is a petrol station within a couple of minutes drive where you can buy light refreshments, and a good shop and pub in the village, none are in practical walking distance when attending a workshop.
